Nasdaq Position Overview

The Corporate Systems Global Services Team supports general business systems for the Nasdaq community. These systems span multiple business areas e.g travel & expense, content management, contract management, eProcurement, invoicing, time management, etc. This is a dynamic position that requires an aptitude for new technology and the ability to multitask in a fast paced global environment.  The ideal candidate is driven to provide the highest level of customer service. It is imperative that the incumbent can articulate how they've solved problems in an academic or professional environment.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide Tier II support and issue resolution to our internal customers including senior management
  • Create end-customer training  materials and facilitate training sessions
  • Participate in system Implementation - data conversion and user test
  • Perform data analysis and research projects
  • Perform system access and data quality oversight audits
  • Perform periodic system maintenance tasks
  • Recommend system enhancements to Application Managers
  • Participate in implementation of various organizational initiatives

Education, Professional accomplishments, and Certifications

  • Education Required: Recent graduate or 1-3 years of experience in a systems support role supporting internal users is a plus
  • Experience Required: 1-3 years of experience in a systems support role supporting internal users is a plus

Skills, Requirements and Competencies

 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Must be comfortable analyzing and compiling metrics and providing results
  • Must have research and problem solving skills
  • Must have an understanding of basic business operations and functions
  • Customer service experience is required
